So it’s my great pleasure to welcome you all to PebbleBash 2024. We’re super excited to be here after a very long journey of trying to have a conference here in Edinburgh, which has taken quite some time to eventuate, and I’ll talk a little bit more about that in a moment.
My name’s Alison Poot. I’m the chief customer officer for PebblePad.
I am usually based in Australia and happily have got a couple of our Australian team here today as well. But I’m at the moment based in the UK for a couple of years and are heading up our customer facing teams across our regions. So it’s really wonderful to have the opportunity to be here and do the welcome for everybody to our big community event. You know, this is the thing that we all build up to every second year, and so we’re really delighted to have everybody in the room after such a long time of not being able to run these events. So, you know, really, really thrilled that everybody’s here and able to come today.
So in addition to doing a great welcome, I also get to do some of the less interesting bits like the housekeeping, which you know is always of course very important.
