The ambition
Discover how the University of Leeds uses PebblePad to elevate pre-arrival engagement, offering interactive, personalised workbooks that nurture students’ sense of belonging and readiness for academic life at Leeds.
The challenge
Understanding the pivotal role of belonging in students’ university experience, the University of Leeds identified a need to engage prospective students before their official arrival and registration.
Recognising the limitations of traditional communication methods such as email and static PDFs, the university sought a customisable and interactive tool to foster a sense of belonging prior to students’ arrival.
The solution
Using PebblePad, the university bolstered its pre-arrival process by delivering tailored resources online to incoming students. As well as a welcome checklist for all students, the platform allows Schools to tailor transition workbooks to the needs of each course and cohort.
