In January 2024, I folk I conducted a focus group about PebblePad with my students.
They actually mentioned this, it is not just about PebblePad, it is about the person who designs and manages PebblePad
Then I look back at what I did in the previous twelve months. In March 2023, I attended a PebblePad webinar on authentic assessment.
Initially, I did not know anything about PebblePad, but I was interested in the learning activities that PebblePad could create.
At the same time, I was updating my own professional portfolio.
Then I realized that I did not have my own learning portfolio when I was doing my own undergraduate degree.
Then I asked myself, wouldn’t it be great that my student had their own learning portfolio?
But how?
Yes, PebblePad.
Then I attended PebblePad workshop at the university and analyzed my previous students’ feedback on my module, especially on the presentation and structure of the learning environment.
Then I had a plan.
Using PebblePad workbook, I am at creating a learning environment that is transparent, portable for students to keep for life, easily navigable, and scaffolded for supported learning.
