2023 ACODE Learning Technologies Leadership Institute – 20-24 August.
PebblePad are sponsoring this is a 4-day workshop (fish and chip dinner on the beach) which runs every 2 years. We have attended this event for several years and most universities across Australia and New Zealand are represented. This event is a progression event for education staff to learn the skills to move forward into their next role and they are expecting over 50 attendees.
Throughout the event, there will be presentations on leadership and management, developing a quality environment, developing workforce capacity, managing information, priorities for institutional leaders and future directions – all with reference to learning technologies. Attendees will be encouraged and expected to test what they hear against their own and the other participants’ experience. Attendees will get the opportunity to apply these concepts through the ‘Making the Case’ exercise where groups of participants develop and present a case for a more strategic approach to the use of learning technologies under a selected institutional scenario. The Institute will ‘practice what it preaches’ and make intensive use of several learning and communications technologies. Attendees will be encouraged and supported to develop ongoing networking relationships across the group.
